“ Just moved to Talbott. We have lived and traveled all over. From Florida to Eastern NC to Maryland and beyond. We love good seafood. If you are looking for that elevated barfood, seafood vibe this is it! Great playlist today while we dined. Maddison, our server was fantastic. Andrew (I believe a manager) was on top of the whole scene. Friendly and obviously making sure everything was running smoothly. Drinks came fast. Food right on time. The pretzel and beer cheese appetizer was hot, soft inside great crust and the cheese tasted like real beer cheese. We ordered the super grouper sandwich and the shrimp po boy sandwich and split them and shared. The grouper was breaded beautifully and cooked perfect. The po boy shrimp popped and was not overcooked like so often. Seasoned well. The fries are bangers! We will be regulars. ”

“ The best thing about THIS visit had to be the service. Tallen was our server and he was very attentive and more than willing to help make our visit more enjoyable. Well done. The food itself was very good. We wish there were more lower fat options that weren't fried or grilled (and less fried too). Maybe a few more salad or side dish options too. That's the reason we gave the overall score a 4, not because of quality but because of selection. As for the atmosphere... it was spectacular! Sitting on the porch watching the water as the sun set... that kind of atmosphere is just hard to beat. ”

“ Fantastic place to eat for seafood lovers and turf lovers. I forget the names of what we had. But the tuna appetizer was amazing, tons of flavor, fantastic texture, correct temperature. The pretzel with beer cheese was above average for my experience, not sure if it's possible to improve. We ordered fish and chips for the kids. It was good, but they had mostly filled up on the appetizers. My wife had the crab, and it is so far the best she has had when not on the ocean. I had the burger with the braised short ribs, and I must admit, I almost could not finish to burger it was so heavy. I'm not a small person, and I did not have space for the side at all. The view of the lake and marina was fantastic. The kids loved looking out to the water. We dined inside, it was a bit loud, but was still a great vibe. ”

“ We had fun at our last minute decision food choice. We were just driving through and decided to stop in. Service was good. Food was out quick and tasted pretty good. We enjoyed a nice sunset on the lake, watching the turtles in the water and the live band and corn hole game were a bonus. Glad we made the stop. ”

“ This was a great experience to dine out. They had live music, but it was a laid-back atmosphere. The appetizers were good. Our main dishes were good but I was sooo hungry, I did not get a good picture. It is a great place to unwind and eat some good food. ”

“ This has become our new favorite place! The view is beautiful at sunset, we love the deck. The live music is always great, we've enjoyed each band. The food is delicious (I highly recommend the salmon Caesar salad as well as the fried green tomatoes)! And the service is just next level! ALL of the wait staff are friendly, polite, fast, and on point! The young man that is the host each time we've been is attentive & accommodating to any seating preference we've ever had, he stays on top of things and gets parties seated faster than I can even figure out, lol! I can't say enough good things about this place really, fantastic establishment all the way around! ”

“ So me and my wife on Sunday went to this cool Lakeside Marina restaurant called off the hooks. What a really cool place we didn’t try any of the food we had lunch earlier, but we did stay out on the outside patio and listen to the live entertainment and drink a few beers beers are reasonably priced as we watch the food being brought to different tables outside. It looked wonderful and smelled wonderful everybody we talk to said they have the best seafood for a Marina on a lake. We will be back to this place and try either lunch or dinner, and will do another updated review real soon. ”

“ What a great dinner. Didn't want to order fried food so I ordered the Flat Iron Steak (rare) and baked potato. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time, cooked as requested with great flavor and so tender. The potato was the same, cooked perfectly with great flavor. My wife had the salmon Caesar salad that had a really large piece of fish, also great flavor and dressing on the salad. We were both so pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Everything we have ever ordered here has been good. Only negative for me is that inside the bar area can be quite loud at times , luckily there is plenty outside. Our server Alyssa was great, checking on us often and very friendly. ”
